GridNote privacy policy

Effective August 30, 2026. GridNote is made by Seth Hadley.

What GridNote stores

GridNote stores the caseload you type in: clinician name and school, student first names and groups, weekly schedule blocks, session notes, goals, and billing status. There is no GridNote account and no GridNote server.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud on the device, GridNote uses Apple’s CloudKit private database so the same caseload can appear on iPhone, iPad, and Mac that use that Apple ID. Apple operates iCloud. GridNote does not run a separate cloud, does not read other users’ records, and does not sell data.

If iCloud is off or unavailable, notes still save on that device only.

What we do not do

Copy for Google

Copy notes / Copy for Google put text on the device pasteboard so you can paste into a form you already use. That paste is under your control.

Purchase

GridNote is a $9.99 paid app. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac for that Apple ID.
